Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident about your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for Nuvex subscriptions.
Summary: You can request a full refund within 48 hours of your first paid subscription, provided you have used no more than 3 generations. After that, refunds are not available. You can always cancel to prevent future charges.
1. First Subscription — 48-Hour Refund Window
If you are subscribing to a paid Nuvex plan for the first time, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of your initial payment, subject to the following conditions:
- You have used no more than 3 generations (out of your plan's monthly allocation) during this period.
- You have not violated our Terms of Service.
- The refund request is submitted via email to billing@nuvex.design within the 48-hour window.
If these conditions are met, we will process a full refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
2. Beyond the 48-Hour Window
After the 48-hour refund window has passed, or if you have used more than 3 generations, refunds are not available. This is because:
- Nuvex is a digital service that delivers AI-generated content immediately upon use.
- Each generation consumes computational resources that cannot be recovered.
- The free trial (2 free generations) is designed to let you evaluate the Service before committing to a paid plan.
3. Subscription Renewals
Refunds are not available for subscription renewals (monthly or annual). It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the next billing date if you no longer wish to use the Service.
To cancel, go to your account dashboard or email billing@nuvex.design. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.
4. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the same 48-hour refund window described in Section 1. After 48 hours, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. We strongly recommend trying the monthly plan first if you are uncertain about long-term commitment.
5. Overages
Overage charges (charges for generations exceeding your monthly plan limit) are non-refundable. By continuing to generate beyond your plan limit, you acknowledge and accept the applicable overage rate.
6. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No partial refund or credit is issued for the remainder of the current cycle on the higher-tier plan.
7. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds or credits outside of this policy in the following circumstances:
- Service outage: If the Service was materially unavailable for an extended period due to an issue on our end (not caused by third-party services, scheduled maintenance, or force majeure).
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error on our end.
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same billing period.
These exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to billing@nuvex.design with the following information:
- Your account email address.
- Date of the payment you are requesting a refund for.
- Reason for the refund request.
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first at billing@nuvex.design so we can resolve the issue directly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. The updated policy applies to purchases made after its effective date.
